Mother's Day is the occasion to show your mother how much you love her and appreciate all that she does for you and family .Every mother, biological or not, deserves to know how much we value them . Mother’s Day celebrates motherhood ,this is a day to make special effort to recognize mothers’ roles in our lives. Often this day is extended to celebrate generations of mothers—grandmothers, great-grandmothers, as well as to mother figures, but when the day comes, it may seem like it's very difficult to express your love and gratefulness or even to find ways to celebrate the occasion.
Here are some thoughtful ways to celebrate and make her feel happy.
Cook her food
Traditionally mothers have to do all the kitchen work. If your mother is a homemaker , give her a day off by taking over the kitchen and cook her favorite meal and serve it aesthetically .This Mother’s day don’t let her enter the kitchen, let her spend the time on something else she likes. She needs to be in her room, reading her favorite novel or watching her favorite film. You can always order ingredients at home and if you don’t live with your mom, then you can just send her the favorite and have a good time connecting over video call.

Talk to her
This Mother’s Day go talk to your mom! If you are not living with her, grab the phone and call her . If you’re lucky to still be sharing space with her, then keep your phone away and spend quality time with her. There’s nothing our mother wants more than our full attention. Talk to her about what makes her smile, what she misses in life, what she struggles most with and how she’s been recently. You can sit along with her and refresh the memories and photographs of her. This will give both of you the flashback of good old times.

Clean her room
If there’s one thing that unites all mothers around the world, it is their obsession for a clean and tidy looking house. So before she starts coming behind you to tidy up your room this Mother’s Day, how about you make her happy by cleaning her room and obviously yours?
She would absolutely be delighted if you could redecorate her room or a space she’s most comfortable in. Add some plants, new photo frames, a bouquet or two to increase the colors and texture. And while clearing the clutter, make you sure you put everything exactly where she likes it!

Planting a life
Instead of simply giving your mother a greeting card and flowers, treat her with something more meaningful. Add some beauty and quality in your memories with her by planting your mother’s favorite flower or a simple plant. Pick up the same from any local nursery and together with your mother, plant it in a visible place in your home. The sight of the plant will make you love your mother more and to see the plant filled with flowers or fruits will give you various reasons to smile and something to live for.
“God could not be everywhere, and therefore he made mothers.” —Rudyard Kipling
So this Mother’s day , let's all express our love to our mothers in a way that it becomes a beautiful memory and to let them know they mean the world to us .
A very happy mother's day wishes to every MOM out there!
